Former Butler basketball star Gordon Hayward's NBA run-in

Former Butler men’s basketball star Gordon Hayward, playing for the NBA’s Utah Jazz, suffered a “wet willy” in a game against the Dallas Mavericks on April 16, 2012. Delonte West was the offender, and himself suffered to the tune of a $25,000 fine. After the fine was announced, West, who makes the NBA veteran’s minimum of $1.18 million annually, said, “That’s a whole month’s check for me. I probably won’t have cable in a couple days.”
