Fuzzy's Checkered-Flag Bottle off to Fast Start

The handsome new bottle of Fuzzy’s Ultra Premium Vodka wasn’t officially revealed until yesterday, but early reports indicate that the Indianapolis 500–themed product was already enjoying strong sales.

Last week, 38 cases went home with attendees of a preview charity event in Speedway, according to Tom Blattler of Ed Carpenter Racing, which is sponsored by the vodka brand. (As added inducement, Carpenter himself signed each bottle.)

Crown Liquors downtown reports strong sales as well. “We blew through a case in two or three days,” says sales clerk Kyle Mulligan. “That’s pretty good, considering we’ve had the same six bottles of regular Fuzzy’s on the shelf for two months now. The 500 being on the bottle—and it is a badass bottle—catches people’s attention for sure.”

Production of the souvenir bottle was limited to 10,000 cases, and they’re available at liquor stores throughout Central Indiana.
