Turbo Director David Soren Spotted at the Speedway

Indianapolis Motor Speedway has answered some of the speculation about whether additional stars from the forthcoming IndyCar-themed film Turbo would make appearances in Indy over the weekend, as the movie’s director, David Soren, makes the rounds at the track today.

Actor Michael Peña, who voices one of the animated characters in Turbo, and who signed on as the Honorary Starter of the Indianapolis 500, is also at the Speedway today.

No word yet on possible Indy appearances by any of the movie’s other marquee stars, including Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson, Maya Rudolph, and Snoop Dogg. An IMS official told May Madness today that no other Turbo-related celebs have yet been confirmed. “At least none that I’m aware of,” says IMS spokesperson Suzi Elliot. “But that’s not to say that there won’t be.”
