Video: ISO Yuletide Singers 'Let It Go' at Circle of Lights
More than 100,000 people who love the holiday spirit more than being warm descended on Monument Circle and downtown Indianapolis for Friday’s Circle of Lights festivities, per RTV-6. Performers included Voice winner Josh Kaufman; Yuletide Celebration cast members from Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s annual holiday bonanza; five citywide talent-search acts, both groups and soloists; and more. Bear in mind that this all went down in an evening when the Indiana Pacers hosted the Orlando Magic a few blocks away, and in the midst of six Indiana high-school football championships playing out at Lucas Oil Stadium Friday and Saturday.
Today/tonight in @IndyDT: a #Pacers game, three @IHSAA1 football championships, and the #CircleofLights ceremony. Oof.

The evening’s performances did not disappoint, and our favorite is here: Broadway vet Ben Crawford and a few of his castmates from ISO’s Yuletide taking on the not-fading-away “Let It Go” from Frozen, a tiny Disney film you might have seen. The arrangement comes from Deke Sharon, who fashioned harmonies for both Pitch Perfect movies, and the performance begins with solos by Joseph Perkins Jr. and Corby York of the Indianapolis Men’s Chorus:
Also during the program, Josh Kaufman, Indy’s own winner of The Voice earlier this year and the current Broadway lead in Pippin, lent his soulful vocals to a faithful rendition of “The Christmas Song.”
Considering the cold on that night, Kaufman also masterfully delivered a favorite from his Voice season: John Legend’s “All of Me.” His voice was full and exquisite as the ditty became something of a singalong at the Circle of Lights:
If that’s not enough holiday splendor for you right now, RTV-6 has more photos in a robust gallery on its website.
