… Like new digs this year, with a move from the American Legion Mall to the larger (and shadier!) Military Park. Four headlining acts instead of the usual one. A reversed route for the Cadillac Barbie Pride Parade. And a new $5 admission fee (more on that later). Relatively new Indy Pride, Inc., president Jason H. Nolen-Doerr briefed IM on the changes to this year’s fest, his Lady Gaga aspirations for Pride, fishing revelers out of fountains, and how Pride is like The Nightmare Before Christmas (in the best way possible).

Indy Pride, the city’s 21st annual tribute to all things LGBT, is finally old enough to get a drink at Gregs. Here are the five moments we’re anticipating at this year’s fest, which kicks off Saturday, June 4, and draws to a close on June 12 with a Survivors Brunch—for everyone who made it through a week of Pride festivities and lived to tell the tale.
