Ed Sahm opens a downtown location of his suburban pizzeria, and a Denver-based burger joint is coming to Westfield.

CRG churns out familiar dishes like pork tenderloin and filet medallions in comfortable, chain-like spaces skirted with padded booths and granite surfaces. But, boy, does it pay to play it safe.

“I loved making my own dough, and I always wanted to open a pizza place, but time gets away from you,” he says.

The pizzas lean more in the direction of adventurous than gourmet, with oddball ingredients playing together nicely.
