“The band, for all intents and purposes, from the beginning, was me and a gang of buddies here and there that would change and morph,” Edwards says. “My 20s had ended, and that band kinda felt like my 20s.”

“We’ve been coming to Naptown ever since the ’60s,” says Clinton. “We go way back with Indianapolis.”

“This is a very progressive city,” says Hofstetter. “We wanted to do something positive to change the bill. For bands to give something, not take it away.”

“I’ve been a champion of this state for a long time,” says Peyton. “I could live anywhere I want, and I choose to live here at home.”
