Tacos, nachos, and cannoli — looks like we’re craving comfort food.

Over the last few years, an enterprising group of restaurateurs and entrepreneurs seized on an opportunity to turn this strip into Indy’s hippest address for restaurants, breweries, markets, and bars.

“This is the first year we’ve had two restaurants giving 100 percent,” says Damien Center organizer Elisa Rogowski. “It’s good to see it spreading out from the city center, as we have one in Zionsville and two in Greenwood.”

The Indianapolis Downtown Artists and Dealers Association’s monthly art tour has changed a lot in seven years, now boasting nearly 40 participating studios and galleries—plus a huge range of unofficial events.
