In March, Open Kitchen plans to move into the University of Indianapolis-adjacent spot that once housed Joshua Gonzales’s Jailbird.

Since opening in 2012, Union Brewing has featured cask-conditioned ales—one of only about a dozen outfits in the U.S. devoted to a method popularized by the Brits.

I live within a 10-minute walk of three craft-beer establishments, including one that made our Best New Breweries list. This is an embarrassment of riches, especially after living in states that, at the time, boasted little beer beyond Bud.
