Billy Roc teaches his students professional wrestling, the art of fake fighting. A sweat-scented garage in Lafayette doubles as his classroom, dubbed The School of Roc. His program is one of a handful in the state to teach the sport.

In an exclusive interview, McAfee recounted the time, just ahead of the 2009 NFL draft, when he appeared in a pro-wrestling match. Here, in his own words, is what went down.

“I’ll wrestle ‘Hannah the Ferocious Banana’—cute little girl, but don’t let her fool you. She is not a nice person in the ring. Sometimes, we have to lift her off the ground by her ponytails.”
