Rubino became Indianapolis Monthly‘s editor-in-chief in August 2016. The 1994 graduate of Wabash College later earned a master’s degree in journalism from Indiana University. He has 22 years of experience, including a decade working in newspapers. Rubino joined Indianapolis Monthly as the magazine’s Associate Editor in 2007. Over the last nine years, he’s held a number of positions at IM, most recently serving as Senior Editor. His work has appeared in TheNew York Times, Christian Science Monitor, ESPN.com, and has been noted by the Best American Sports Writing anthology. Rubino, who was raised in Jasper, IN, lives in the Zionsville area with his two teenage sons.
