The Replay: Anthony Castonzo, Roy Hibbert, and David West
Every Friday, we post up The Replay, our weekly look at sports. It’s mostly fouls and airballs.
» Naked Truth: Three Colts offensive linemen—Jack Mewhort, Anthony Castonzo, and Todd Herremans—won raves for posing nude in ESPN The Magazine’s “Body Issue.” Seems like it was good exposure for the guys—plus, now they know how Andrew Luck feels when he drops back to pass:

» Roy vey: The Pacers finally jettisoned mercurial big man Roy Hibbert, trading the former two-time All-Star (seriously, look it up) to the Lakers for a future second-round pick. The Hibbert deal, sadly, didn’t come with any of the drama of the DeAndre Jordan affair, which sparked a war of emojis between the Mavs and the Clippers. That, in turn, inspired ESPN’s Darren Rovell to crowdsource Twitter to come up with a roster of emojis for NBA players present and past. Understandably, Hibbert was left off the list. So, in appreciation for his seven years with the Pacers, let this be recognized as the official Roy Hibbert Emoji™: 📉
» Out, West: Also moving on from the Pacers: power forward David West, who signed with the Spurs for the veterans’ minimum of $1.5 million. West opted out of his deal with Indiana, one that was set to pay him $12 million for 2015-16, and has won plaudits for leaving to chase a ring. That’s great, but isn’t that like every contestant ever on The Bachelor?
» Show PG the Meaning of Being Lonely: Lance left last year. Now West and Roy. All of this Pacers tumult does beg a serious question: Who’s going to sing backup?
» Now Read This: USWNT standout and Ben Davis grad Lauren Holiday calls it a career after winning a World Cup.
A (happy) tearful Lauren Holiday just confirmed she’s retiring from USWNT at 27. Says has given last 10 years to national team. Family now.
