Crunch Time: Broad Ripple Chip Co.

Don’t call them barbecue. Broad Ripple Chip Co.’s new Sweet & Spicy variation is much more subtle than that, tasting lightly sugared at first bite with a flavor that fades into a slow burn thanks to a little kiss of habanero. The recipe, inspired and tested by owner Mark McSweeney’s sons in Bloomington, offers the same satisfying crunch as the original artisan chip, but gets tumbled with a new blend of seasonings for a fresh spin that is just as addictive.
