PREVIEW: Northside Nights Restaurant Week
You have had the opportunity to Devour Downtown and Savor the Southside. The $30 prix fixe frenzy rages on when Northside Nights kicks off this Thursday. The specials run for two weeks (March 8-18), which gives you ample time to indulge on the cheap.
We are looking forward to the handmade pappardelle noodles with asparagus tips, artichoke hearts, and caper blossoms at the Geist-area Michael’s Southshore (11705 Fox Rd., 317-723-3808); the never-disappointing mini-wedge salad, six-ounce filet, and horseradish mashed potatoes at Sullivan’s Steakhouse (3316 E. 86th St., 317-580-1280); and the lavish three-course tasting menu (the first course alone includes Hawaiian pork shoulder, macadamia nut pesto, cheese grits, and pickled shiitake) at Oakleys Bistro (1464 86th St. West, 317-824-1231).
