Shoptalk: Blooms And Linen

It’s fitting that when the owners of online shop Blooms & Linen searched for a brick-and-mortar spot, they would find a home just off of Main Street in Zionsville. Fitting, because the inventory is the sartorial equivalent of a modern farmhouse, stocked with utilitarian basics adorned with delightful details, such as military vests with faux-fur collars ($65) and striped tees with elbow patches ($48). Leggings ($28–$34) are a top seller, but perhaps most charming are the thoughtfully displayed accessories—felt hats, plaid scarves, and fair-trade jewelry lines—scattered among succulents, antlers, and cotton flowers on rustic wood shelves. The store—open Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays—is owned by Stefanie Childs and Lindsay Lyon, two friends who met at church and bonded over their faith and love of fashion. If you ask us, the whole thing is just about as sweet as pie.
