Ian Mahinmi’s New Menswear Collection
Pacers fans might associate Paul George with style, but it’s center Ian Mahinmi who has his own fashion label. French Deal (a reference to Mahinmi’s nationality) does dressy with a sharp, sporty edge. One of the line’s signatures is the letterman’s jacket, with a waistband and contrasting sleeves, elevated with lapels, rich materials, trims, and patterned linings. This video from the set of French Deal’s photo shoot provides a good overview of the label’s second collection, with plenty of dinner jackets, slim-cut pants, and “Rump Shaker.” Oh, and Mahinmi cameos, too.
