Where did you find that frock?

At Queen Bee Vintage in the Old Northside. I shared my distaste for the green trim with the owner, so she grabbed a seam ripper and took it off right then and there!

Do you buy a lot of vintage clothing?

The majority of my clothes are secondhand—a combination of true vintage and consignment. I like to mix thrifted pieces into my everyday look.

What’s one of your go-to thrift shops in the city?

The second level of the Southport Antique Mall is a treasure trove. There’s a massive selection of vintage for women and men.

Do you have a fashion mantra?

I like Rachel Zoe’s philosophy: “Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak.” I love that we can tell the world a little bit about ourselves and what makes us unique and interesting by what we wear when we walk out the door.
