The Shopportunist: Faherty Pop-Up Shop, Wednesday Only

Faherty Brand, founded by two reformed corporate types who gave in to their beach-bum souls, crashed onto the fashion scene like a tsunami this spring. The namesake brothers—one of whom worked for Ralph Lauren—had a friend in Tory Burch and quickly scored lots of love from the big fashion media as they scampered around the Hamptons and other sandy shores in a mobile surf shack, selling swimsuits and board shorts. But it was no summer fling. Faherty has a fall collection anchored by soft flannels ($165) in gorgeous colors, and you can find them in the beach hut coming to Indianapolis for one day only—Wednesday, October 16, at 8 Fifteen. The pop-up shop will also be stocked with tees, tanks, dresses, and menswear. And, of course, some of the coolest beach togs around, if you like your summers endless—or are heading somewhere warm for fall break. 815 E. 65th St., 317-253-1234, 8fifteen.com
