Wanted: Freja + Mother Denim at 8 Fifteen

Fashion publications are swooning over a collaboration between Danish model Freja Beha Erichsen and a celeb-favorite line. Freja + Mother Denim taps into the model’s passion for animal activism to produce faux-leather skinny jeans with moto details. They’re made from polyurethane, though W Magazine compared them to lambskin, Vogue called them “slick rock-‘n’-roll replicas,” and Elle France said the capsule collection “fills them with wonder” (we think). 8 Fifteen, the city’s exclusive source of Mother jeans, received the Freja “Skinny” in crystal cove this week. It retails for $300, with 10 percent going to the charity Doctors Without Borders. 815 E. 65th St., 317-253-1234, 8fifteen.com.
