A Fine Vintage: IndySwank Shuts Its Doors

Bummer news for anyone who loved IndySwank’s mix of vintage fashion and all-around cool stuff—the Fountain Square boutique closed its doors this week after three years in business. You can still shop online, but we’ll miss owner Jennifer Von Deylen’s creative window displays and the chance to ogle her fabulous finds in person. Especially depressing for retro-cool fans is that IndySwank’s closing comes on the heels of White Dog, the adorable Mass Ave vintage shop, closing in October, and Minx Vintage and Home in December. So support your local vintage shop—like Queen Bee Vintage (111 E. 16th St., 317-916-8125), which took over Minx’s location in the Penn Arts Building.
