What $975K Gets You in Williams Creek

Williams Creek is known for its impressive homes. At first glance, this ranch at 8135 Sycamore Rd. doesn’t look like one of them. Behind the painted brick exterior, though, is a real gem.

The sellers spent a year renovating the four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath house with resale in mind. Among many updates to the 1955 home: a brand-new kitchen, overhauled baths, hand-scraped wood floors throughout, a two-car garage, and a concrete ramp in the back for accessibility. It’s almost a park-like setting,” says agent Matt Kressley with F.C. Tucker Company.

The ranch hit the market last fall at just over $1 million—slightly high. After a brief time off the market, the house went back on in January at the current, adjusted price of $999,988. It is now listed at $974,900.
