Discovery: Indiana License-Plate Clocks at Society of Salvage

At Society of Salvage, it’s easy to get pulled in by oversized signage letters and Mad Men–era office furniture and miss the small treasures—such as these upcycled license-plate clocks with retro designs. (“Wander Indiana!”) The second hand turns smoothly and silently, not in loud, jerky clicks. Speed over to the store (when it reopens Saturday) and snag yours before the chance passes you by. $18 each. Society of Salvage, 1021 E. Michigan St., 317-964-0513, Facebook page
