Pop-Up Alert: Hot House Market in Noblesville This Weekend

Hot House Market in Lafayette is well worth the detour whenever you’re in the area. We discovered the store last year and wished it would move to Indianapolis. And it is—for two days, at least. Friday and Saturday, March 14 and 15, the owners are staging the Spring Pop-Up Market at Logan Village Mall in downtown Noblesville (977 Logan St., 317-776-9999). We trust Hot House Market to choose fantastic artisans to participate (after all, look how cute their poster is), and indeed, the list of vendors includes some we haven’t seen on the much-hyped handmade circuit around Indianapolis. Find new stuff from Bloomington’s Refind Designs, which paints heartfelt messages onto wood pallet boards; Mint Lilly, a line of soft-yet-edgy accessories by Lafayette resident Elisa Gudsteinsdottir; and Burlap to Silk Designs, a Kokomo sewing studio.

She joined the staff in 2005 to edit IM's ancillary publications, including Indianapolis Monthly Home. In 2011, she became a senior editor responsible for the Circle City section as well as coverage of shopping, homes, and design-related topics. Now a contributing editor for Indianapolis Monthly, she lives in Garfield Park.
