Coming Soon: Agrarian Urban Homestead & Supply

If you’ve been scouring the city for Flock Blocks, pine shavings, and nesting boxes since reading our chicken-farming tips, you’ll be happy to know that a boutique specializing in homesteading supplies is opening in late August. Called Agrarian and affiliated with Nap Town Chickens, Indy’s first urban-farming store is even taking inventory suggestions on its Facebook page. Don’t worry about requesting adorable egg baskets—we recently got a sneak peek, and Agrarian has those covered. The shop will make its roost in SoBro, at the corner of 49th Street and College Avenue.
