Realty Check: This Has To Be The Most Spectacular Lake House In Indiana

You and 100 friends should chip in and buy this glorious vacation home on Bloomington’s Lake Monroe. Designed by Jason Wolfe of Demerly Architects for an Indianapolis real-estate developer, the lake house sits on a peninsula jutting out into the water. The lot determined the home’s long, narrow configuration. Wolfe incorporated as much glass as possible to showcase water views, and found a way to incorporate the world’s largest dehumidifier to handle the indoor infinity-edge pool with water features. Indoor pools produce significant humidity, creating the challenge of insulating the space so condensation doesn’t collect anywhere in the house. It was the first indoor pool Wolfe has created—and he hopes it’s the last. Nevertheless, someone with $3 million will get to enjoy the fruits of his labor. Here are some of the features, including details that might go unnoticed in the midst of all the design majesty of our favorite Indiana lake house:

The humidity-monster, infinity-edge pool separates common living spaces from bedrooms.
