There’s a new gin in town, and East Washington Street loses two dining options.

Indy dining news this week includes the rebranding of Speedway’s Lino’s Coffee, a second restaurant for the owners of Shoefly Public House, and a new location for Lincoln Square Pancake House.

The ultimate school-cafeteria assortment, with items from Kim’s Kake Kreations & Bakery, Bru Burger Bar, Traders Point Creamery, Shoefly Public House, and more.

The repurposed decor jibes with the menu’s reinvention of tavern fare: comfortable yet civilized, with flashes of brilliance, as in crispy-fried Citrus Spiced Seitan; beer-battered walleye with housemade tartar sauce; and black bean–corn fritters with cilantro cream.
