Swoon List: Griggsby’s Station, Wildwood Market, and More

The Swoon List compiles our latest food-and-drink favorites. They’re not ranked, just delicious.

Beer-soaked Chili Cheese Fries (their wording, not ours) at Griggsby’s Station (101 W. Main St., Greenfield, 317-696-0737), featuring a base of sturdy, crisp fries supporting queso, beans, and local beef cooked in Sun King Wee Mac.

One of last week’s lunch specials at Wildwood Market (1015 Virginia Ave., 317-737-2653): slabs of smoked porchetta under a thin slice of Emmental cheese, with sundried-tomato pesto, red-wine vinaigrette, and arugula on a squishy onion bun.

The recently improved charcuterie platter from Spoke & Steele (123 S. Illinois St., 317-737-1616) featuring all house-made meats: lacy, melt-in-your-mouth pancetta, creamy paprika-forward ’nduja, and an especially light chorizo with a bright, tangy spiciness.
