Beer-soaked Chili Cheese Fries (their wording, not ours) at Griggsby’s Station (101 W. Main St., Greenfield, 317-696-0737), featuring a base of sturdy, crisp fries supporting queso, beans, and local beef cooked in Sun King Wee Mac.

One of last week’s lunch specials at Wildwood Market (1015 Virginia Ave., 317-737-2653): slabs of smoked porchetta under a thin slice of Emmental cheese, with sundried-tomato pesto, red-wine vinaigrette, and arugula on a squishy onion bun.
