The Feed: Bitter Sweet, Sea Salt on Mass, and More

» Beginning May 1, the recently opened Irvington restaurant Bitter Sweet (5443 E. Washington St., 317-602-7335) will start serving dinner.

» If you’ve driven by the Millikan on Mass development lately, you’ve probably seen the Sea Salt on Mass sign. According to Facebook, Sea Salt on Mass (505 Massachusetts Ave., 317-966-8790) is a chophouse opening in mid-to-late June, serving fresh seafood and steaks.

» Pia Urban Cafe & Market (2834 E. Washington St.) is now open, located next door to adorable Mexican spot Tlaolli. The colorful cafe, decked out in gorgeous murals, serves assorted pastries from Circle City Sweets, a small selection of sandwiches, and a robust selection of coffee drinks made from Puerto Rican beans.

» Nearly three years ago, IM reported that Brugge Brasserie’s (1011 E. Westfield Blvd., 317-255-0978) Ted Miller was teaming up with Greg Hardesty of Recess to launch a brewery dubbed The Owner’s Wife (608 Park Ave.). According to local dining blog Eat Drink Indy, Ted Miller will finally open that brew pub this summer, but Greg Hardesty is no longer involved. Instead, Miller has brought on Milktooth chef-owner Jonathan Brooks to design the menu and serve as the consulting chef and Jay Petroy, kitchen manager at Brugge, to be the executive chef.
