The story behind the Pattern founder’s perky accessory.

“People [in Indy] are starting to care about fashion,” she says. “I sound like my grandma, but a little effort in the way we dress is a sign of respecting others around us.

Here’s how her biz began: “I went out and realized it was really expensive to drink. So I took glue and scrapbooking paper and just made a flask. I put it on social media, and it blew up. Sold out at First Friday in Fountain Square.”

“Everything was oversized, from tall T-shirts to custom-painted, initialed pieces,” he says about getting into fashion as a seventh-grader. “Atrocious reflecting. I transitioned into tailored clothes.”

“These glasses are comfortable, lightweight, and durable, and I hope to have them forever,” he says.

“I usually do my hair according to what I am wearing that day. If I’m wearing something along these lines, I usually go with loose waves. If it’s something edgy, I like to wear my hair sleek and shiny.”
