On Saturday night, celebrities and athletes walked the red carpet on their way into the 2015 Indianapolis 500 Festival Snakepit Ball, the annual pre–Indianapolis 500 fundraiser at the Indiana Roof Ballroom in downtown Indy.

‘Tis the season for month-of-May celebrity announcements in Indianapolis, and the latest comes from the organizers of the 2015 KeyBank 500 Festival Snakepit Ball.

“It is so nice to have a virgin experience at this stage in my life,” says Michael Feinstein. “And so I will be coming with great expectations but no attachment to any particular driver.”

Q: Have you ever been star-struck at your own party? A: When President Clinton was at my house, that was the greatest impression anyone has ever made on me. He was amazing—gobs of charisma. But I really don’t get star-struck anymore at my age.

The stars on hand picked favorites in Sunday’s running of the Indy 500, told stories, and shared laughs, all in high spirits the night before the Greatest Spectacle in Racing.

On the heels of their star turns in the 500 Festival parade today, celebrities in for the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing” took to the checkered carpet outside the Indiana Roof Ballroom. On the docket: the 2012 Snakepit Ball, with headlining performer Rick Springfield.
