» Chef Dan’s Food Truck is nearing an opening date for its new brick-and-mortar spot, Chef Dan’s Southern Comfort Restaurant (5539 E. Washington St., 317-771-8765). To celebrate, the new Irvington eatery is hosting a preview of the menu tonight and tomorrow night. We’re going straight for the heavenly banana pudding.

» California-based craft-beer giant Yard House Bar & Grill (42 W. Maryland St.) will open its first Indiana location, inside of Circle Centre mall, on March 25. You can expect 130 draft-beer taps, including a slew of local favorites from Sun King, Triton, Three Wise Men, Flat 12, Bier, and Fountain Square.

» Gourmet-cupcake pioneer Gigi Butler of Gigi’s Cupcakes will appear on Undercover Boss tonight. Let’s see if she makes a little pit stop at one of the Indianapolis locations.
