» Paste magazine can’t seem to get enough of Three Floyds. The brewery’s Yum Yum pale ale landed at No. 9 on the magazine’s Best New Beers of 2014 roster.
» Local brewery Danny Boy Beer Works will open in January in Carmel’s West Clay area (12702 Meeting House Rd.). Danny Boy will serve 10 of its own brews along with 30 rotating guest beers.
» New high-end restaurant Spoke & Steele (123 S. Illinois St., 317-737-1616) is now open inside the swanky Le Meridien hotel.
