Eat Sheet: Delicia, Subito, and More

» SoBro hotspot Delicia (5215 N. College Ave., 317-925-0677) is now open on Monday nights and kicking off the start of every work week with half-priced wine.

» Spoke & Steele (123 S. Illinois St., 737-1616) bartender Tyler Burns was the winner of this year’s cocktail competition held at the Beer, Wine & Spirits Trade Show at Lucas Oil Stadium. His winning cocktail, the refreshing and complex “Smoke & Spice,” combines rye, reposado, amaretto, and lime with an autumn-spice simple syrup and apple bitters. Other finalists in the competition, chosen from 15 of Indy’s top mixologists at a preliminary round in September, included Zachary Bowsher of Louie’s Wine Dive (345 Massachusetts Ave., 317-929-1644) mixing up a creamy, sweet “Louie Latte” and Phil Cummings of Iozzo’s Garden of Italy (946 S. Meridian St., 317-974-1100) adding smoked ice to his “Smokey Bandito,” a twist on the smoked Manhattan available at the restaurant.

» Downtown lunch spot Subito (44 Virginia Ave., 317-220-8211) is now open, serving sandwiches on freshly baked ciabatta rolls and made-from-scratch soups, ranging from tomato-basil bisque to butternut-squash prosciutto.

» New Clermont restaurant Lola’s Bowl and Bistro (9045 Crawfordsville Rd., 317-370-5501) is open, but slowly rolling out the full menu over the next two weeks.

» According to the IBJ, a coffee, wine, and beer bar dubbed The Koelschip (2505 N. Delaware St.) will open in Fall Creek Place.
