The Feed: Rook, Vida, and More

» After closing up shop at its previous location (719 Virginia Ave.), now filled by Spice Box, Rook reopens today at its new digs inside the Slate development (501 Virginia Ave., 317-737-2293). Chef Carlos Salazar has relaunched with an expanded menu, highlighting the likes of oxtail dumplings, crispy pata, Korean tostadas, and his famous ramen bowls.

» Cunningham Restaurant Group’s latest dinner-only venture, Vida (601 E. New York St., 317-420-2323), opens tomorrow, serving a nightly chef’s tasting menu along with other contemporary-American entrees. Open Table is still taking reservations for tomorrow night.

» New Tex-Mex restaurant Corner Cantina has opened in the former New Orleans on the Avenue spot (543 Indiana Ave., 317-749-0702).

» Chris Baggott, founder and CEO of Tyner Pond Farm, will open the Irvington location of his Greenfield drive-in, The Mug (117 Apple St., 317-477-7550), this spring. The entrepreneur-turned-farmer recently released design renderings of the upcoming farm-to-curb spot.

» Baggott will be having a busy spring. According to the IBJ, Baggott will launch his food-tech start-up ClusterTruck, a meal-delivery service, this March. Mike Cunningham has signed on to oversee food operations.
